Multimedia: Reuters project charts the recession

Reuters has launched an interactive multimedia project, Times of Crisis, charting the global impact of the current financial climate.

Spanning the year since the collapse of Lehman Brothers, the largest bankruptcy in US history, the multimedia package presents news stories, pictures and videos to show how lives around the globe have changed in since the credit crunch began.
In addition to the coverage, the project showcases interviews from a variety of people in different roles and cultures including former employees of Lehman Brothers.
Vice president of pictures for Thomson Reuters Ayperi Karabuda Ecer said: “The crisis has been amongst the most significant events of our time - touching lives everywhere. We have drawn upon every aspect of Reuters reporting, combining facts with emotion to tell the bigger story.”
