A photographer was told he couldn’t take pictures on Sandbanks beach in Bournemouth without a permit, the Daily Echo has reported.
Steve Cook was in the middle of a charity photo shoot for the Help for Heroes charity on Monday morning when he was stopped, the Echo reports.
A beach warden told him that commercial photography on the beach was prohibited by a Borough of Poole bylaw, unless you had the correct permit, and the council has insisted that commercial photographers must have permission to take photographs on the beach.
